No. He lied. It is in the second and sixth paragraph. I bolded the sixth paragraph for you.

Mr Trump’s website for his 2016 campaign had previously stated that the border country would make a “one-time payment of “$5-$10 billion”.

His website said the Mexicans would write a one-time check. He clearly said that. Now he said he never said it. He is lying. I care about lying.

site was controlled by candidate Trump and his campaign, I view a campaign site as a rough draft of ideas to accomplish the candidates main goals, even more so with Trump since he had no political experience. Youre basically pointing at a rough draft and calling him a liar after he changed up his strategy, also its funny how none of his supporters are complaining only libtards. We spend billions on illegal aliens every year if we stop just a small portion of that the wall will pay for itself so no one cares if Mexico pays for it directly

No. There is no reason to be upset that he was unable to make the Mexicans write him a check. There is no reason to be upset that he changed his mind.

The concern is that he is claiming he never said what he said. That is weirdly delusional.
