Because some protestors are racist you want to condemn the whole to Chinese Dictatorship?

The rhetoric that Hong Kong is racially Chinese and therefor belongs to China is racist.

It certainly is a fitting punishment for a bunch of vile racists though, don't you think? It's not exactly social justice but it'll do.

The rhetoric that Hong Kong is racially Chinese and therefor belongs to China is racist.

The rhetoric is that Hong Kong was Chinese territory until it was ripped away by the illegal Opium War. Thus it must be returned, and that's exactly what's happening right now.

No, not everyone in Hong Kong is a racist and I don't wish living in a dictatorship upon anyone.

Thus it must be returned, and that's exactly what's happening right now.

It's not being returned, their special status is still maintained. 150 years ago China wasn't what it is today, Hong Kong is right to want independence.

If racism is the big gripe, why not support Hong Kong Independence as a punishment towards China for being racist?
