That's not the main problem, not at the outset. What viruses do, if allowed to spread, is mutate, in order to respond to antibodies and thus continue spreading. As that happens, more people are seriously ill and seriously damage their lungs, and some of them die. Focusing on the number of deaths is a propaganda tactic by Big Corp, whereas the real problems is the long-lasting physical damage caused to those who've had COVID19. They also have fatigue for months thereafter (ask someone who has had it and is over age 30), and this fatigue partially continues a year later. The problem is the spread and mutation of the virus, along with the lasting physical damage cause by COVID19 (for many, not all people). 215 million people have recovered from COVID19, many of whom now have related physical, and supposedly, congnative, problems.

EDIT: I now see that 730,404 people have died in the US because of the virus. This too is a reason to take the vaccine, though it's not the main reason.

why does big corp focus on a propaganda technique that is bound to fail. I guess they could have lied and denied that .01% die and said it was much higher like 50% but they knew no one would buy that as they saw with their own eyes people getting covid and recovering easily. Maybe the vaccine could help prevent long haul covid, but since the vaccine causes heart problems which also lead to fatigue, it's no good.

why does big corp focus on a propaganda technique that is bound to fail.

It does not fail with people who think Trump is Jesus, among other mentally challenged and poorly informed and educated people, just to name a few, and a larger set of people who will support a riht-wing political side regardless of how much they know or how smart they may be.

I guess they could have lied and denied that .01% die and said it was much higher like 50% but they knew no one would buy that as they saw with their own eyes people getting covid and recovering easily.

Moreover, they could not have lied because there are many global centers for disease control that have much of the appropriate data, such as this: https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/

Maybe the vaccine could help prevent long haul covid, but since the vaccine causes heart problems which also lead to fatigue, it's no good.

There is no evidence that it causes heart problems in more than 1/1000000000 people, if that. There was some concern about blood clots in younger people who took one of the types of vaccines, and this is being studied, but the potential for this is so rare that you'd have a better chance getting struck by lightening 30 times.

the people loving trump distrust the propaganda the most. Likely due to having the higher IQs. I still think if they were more truthful more people would go along with their vaccine plans. More get the heart problems from the vaccine than the .01% that die from covid. So maybe you're right tho that covid has more of a threat of causing long term fatigue and that is serious, they ought to focus on that then. Lying from the get go was a bad move if this pandemic is a real threat.

Though the US Government had intelligence on the Wuhan virus in late October 2019, from reliable sources who were in Wuhan to report this kind of information, there was an insider trading effort not to respond to it until D.C. investors could shift their investments. This is one of the reasons the GOP and trump lied in January - March 2020 about COVID19, whereas other countries were already responding to it. Trump lied 16,241 times to the public while in office, specifically to help his cronies, family, Russian oligarchs (who paid his $ 400 m debt), the GOP and other associates. His is the most corrupt presidency and government in the past century. He and his supporters repeatedly said COVID19 is a hoax. This allowed the virus to spread and mutate, making the US the second worst example for COVID19 responses in the world (India's numbers are supposedly only a fifth of their actual cases and deaths).

what should they have done, shut everything down? for fed govt to do that would be unconstitutional plus trump knew it'd kill his chances at reelection. But trump would want to stop covid if he could, it is reason he lost to Biden a terrible candidate. He lost due to not stopping states from illegally locking down, he stood next to fauci daily and supported him. So the real illegal thing Trump did was not stopping the illegal lockdowns. Which were done and did not stop covid anyway.

Now Biden is president. Why doesn't he order lockdowns, same reason Trump did not. Would be illegal and unpopular, and dems are in charge now so don't want to be unpopular.

What other countries were doing: masks, social distancing, tests, quarantine if necessary, track/trace if possible, require this especially at airports, vaccinate when possible months later, &c. It's always been well known that these simple steps could have stopped or reduced the lockdowns. But Big Corp and investors wanted those lockdowns.

The numbers of deaths are being argued by the people involved. Real experts have been censored and silenced for trying to talk about the actual numbers of deaths. Fuck off with your shilling.
