There are good people in the police force, I know a few personally. That said, calling attention to their gross, rampant abuses of power and lack of accountability hardly seems divisive to me unless you worship their authority and the 'thin blue line'.

The police doing these things are driving the divisiveness much more than the people who are simply pointing that out...
