Yes they did. They always talked about Onlyfans and being approached by pimps. So many had Onlyfans and openly advertised it.

They certainly glamorized sex work -- they thought it was empowering. Their eagerness to do it is indicative of the AGP, probably.

that does sound very AGP to me. I do not know any such people, luckily. Approached by pimps seems a bit "cool story bro". I guess the only fans thing is part of their fantasy, and not a way to pay actual bills for them.

I guess they were around people who did not think this was odd or poorly thought out?

I'm thinking out loud here (I type loudly). Porn and sex work is soul crushing (and where only fans falls in that continuum I'm not sure. It is not perform oral sex in parked cars for money, it's not lights camera rape, but it is lights camera, it's not dancing in a bar, but I'm not minimizing it. The soul crushing aspect of it might be more gradual but it also might not stop gnawing away, I just don't know.) but AGP TIMs are going into it as their fantasy has turned into a delusion or the addiction aspect of getting off has pushed them into this choice, then has their soul been crushed already (what we define as a soul or soul crushing not withstanding) or is it numbed before they entertain this plan? Have they so completely detached their minds from reality that it's not as applicable as it is for women who end up in those situations? For women in these situations, their very real bodies and their very real mind-body unity (not just connection but unity as that is what it is for everyone) is part of the process they experience. Their whole selves are in it, even if they disconnect their actions from who the are. For the AGPs who go this far into the fantasy, they've already convinced themselves they are not their bodies. But the women are operating their bodies, not disconnected from them, and instead they are compartmentalizing the actions or transactions. Does that makes sense?

I guess I'm wondering if, or concluding that, the damage the AGP experiences from this is part of the AGP experience, but the damage a woman involved in this stuff experiences is of a very different nature (the above long parenthesis is applicable here). Obviously it is, I guess. But the trans TIM sex worker is not facing the same problems within themselves that a woman faces.

I might be wrestling with what feels like to me a lack of sympathy for them on my part, but maybe it is that the thing they suffer from and need help with is not the same at all ever, barring physical abuse, that women suffer from in these situations. So, the kind of sympathy we should have for all who suffer must be of a different kind for the AGP than for a woman in what ever part of the sex industry they might be in. They are very different problems to solve, and the "sex worker" aspect of it for the AGP might be irrelevant to the solution for them. It is part of the fantasy, a symptom of the problem and not their actual problem at the core.

Part of the reason sex work is soul crushing is that a woman on her own with a client is always aware of the risk her client could kill her and no one would care so she's never going to speak her mind or speak up for herself.

A TiM in that situation is fully away he can just punch the guy in the face.

Good point! Then, the biggest thing at risk for the TiM is the fantasy. There's a pretty consistent thing there with them, preservation of the lies and the fantasy is paramount, or: the more things change, the more they stay the same.
