99% of self-described atheists are zombie adherents of what can only be described as religions, with more zealotry than most self-described religionists.

Calling oneself an "atheist" does not make it universally so. It's come to mean very little in practice.

The worst is when someone is delusional enough to think they are "without theism" yet they are zealots: delusional. Which is the case for most now.

It comes across as delusional referring to someone who is without religion as devoutly religious.

The delusion is 100% on the part of the one who calls himself "atheist" yet is devoutly religious. Such is the delusionality of most self-described atheists.

🤣

Yes, most self-described atheists are a real laugh out loud situation. They think stating they're "without theism" means they're "non-religious", and then in the same sentence they're extremist religionist worshipers of globalist ideological filth, and they try to murder nations and poison everyone, in the name of fake "social" causes, backed by international bankers seeking total control.

Political ideologies are not religions.

Any belief and thus worship can be a religion. Especially once there are millions of adherents which there are and much more than that.

Broadly speaking, but not entirely accurate.

religion /rɪˈlɪdʒ(ə)n/ noun the belief in and worship of a superhuman controlling power, especially a personal God or gods.

Religion is particular, specific dogmatic belief in a deity. By your definition, cults, superstition and generalised spirituality and faith are religious. These do not fit the definition. Nor does strong devotion to a political movement.

I'm using the term accurately. You're interpreting the definition inaccurately.

Religion: the belief in and worship of a superhuman controlling power, especially a personal God or gods.

Last part:

, especially a personal God or gods.

That part is not to the exclusion of every religion which isn't based on god(s). The word "especially" refers to the fact that most mainstream religions center around the concept of god and it is making note of that.

By your definition, cults, superstition and generalised spirituality and faith are religious. These do not fit the definition. Nor does strong devotion to a political movement.

False. This does fit the definition of a religion. Most atheists I see are adherents to globalist scum ideology running on faith. It is one of the biggest religions. That it isn't called a religion by those deluded faithfuls is irrelevant. I can judge them for what they are and how they act and function. They are stronger zealots than most self-described mainstream religious people.

Turn off the TV every so often, if the only atheists you see are leftist scum then you are being blinded by a minority of degenerates. It would be an unfair assessment to refer to Catholics as being 'mostly choirboy molesters' based on the prevalence of the priests in the news. As an atheist, I find your assessment almost comical, but again, Americanisms. Atheism in America is almost taboo at present and is often target of propaganda as being degenerates, supported by the few actual scum being broadcast, and those in the news give the average person a bad name. Europe has a far wider demographic of atheists going back several decades...or centuries, probably older than the US itself, it has not been taboo here for some time. Most people I meet are atheist here, making the average normal person an atheist, many of which with decent family values.

You do realise that this:

a superhuman controlling power

Means the same thing as this:

especially a personal God or gods.

Worship of a superhuman controlling power aka a god. Twisting definition to suit your whim is a stretch.
