Totally unrelated, but just wanted to say, that even though I have only been here a couple days, it is very refreshing the way you maintain a reasonable and nuanced stance around complex issues. I have a lot of respect for that, and it's inspired me to be more vigilant in avoiding a tendency towards reactionary and emotional responses.

The world seems so crazy right now, that my faith in humanity often feels like it's dwindling by the day. Right now even small interactions with people thinking rationally goes a long way to temper my pessimism. Just want you to know its noticed and appreciated
