From the video it seems like a political buzzword that's been twisted by conspiracists.

That's what you got out of that, huh?

We live in a golden gilded age, really.

Never before have people had the conveniences and safety we do today.

Before the Coco the average household didn't have enough savings to afford a $500 emergency.

These families do not enjoy the convenience of safety you're describing.

Not that it's perfect but I think it's cause for optimism rather than pessimism.

The public has been brainwashed with propaganda from the media, and critical thinking has been crushed by public schooling.

This is legit source of pessimism.

I was just thinking this morning about how many people have read what I -- just a normal person -- have written over the years. It's in the millions. And anyone can do it with today's tech and they do without even thinking about it. You don't need to write a famous book or be rich, just write online and you have a massive potential audience.

You sound as if you haven't noticed the internet censorship.

Basically, the opposite experience of everyone else here.

Questionable.

I've been talking to online communities for 26 years, started on local dial-up BBS forums and FIDONet. I've been censored plenty but it's also been a learning experience.

Still didn't tell me what coco was. The average Amercian still can't afford a $500 emergency, not sure they ever could.

Again, it's experience, Tom. I've seen a lot of politicians say a whole lotta bullshit.

What are you going to do in 20 years or 30 or 40 or 50 and you've been expecting the worst the whole time. That's a miserable way to live.
