It is pretty sexist. Women will be considerably more likely to fit into the 20% discount on average no matter what. It takes a very small male to do the same. Just sounds like a way to circumvent sex discrimination laws, though who knows if Myanmar has those.

I dunno, women are shorter than men, but I'm not sure they're any slimmer (or wider)

Edit: But yeah, if they are, then another gate for the women with bars spaced for them would make it fair.

They are even accounting for height. Less muscle mass. Also women are shorter on average even so, and either way it comes out to about the same thing. The women would need a separate set of gate sizes to be truly fair, since they'd be smaller on average whether due to height or less muscle.
