The repetition of history is really rather shocking. I know, I know... it's supposed to rhyme, but this is beginning to look like flat our repetition.

ESG is the latest form of central-command-control economy. Every single time this is done, it fails, without exception. We're more familiar with the "traditional political" version of centralized command and control (USSR, N. Korea, China, etc), but ESG is exactly the same damned thing. It's a committee of people deciding how to structure the economy. Long story short, it doesn't matter if it's politicians, priests, or bankers on that committee. It fails every single time. Will human culture ever absorb this lesson? As of now, it seems doubtful.
