Just building the infrastructure to support EV's probably negates the CO2 saving benefits of using them. The impact of building it is massive. It's several times worse, due to the moronic ways it is being done, like giving federal tax money to states to incentivize building EV-only lanes on roads. Since only the rich can afford an EV, even after incentives, these privilege-corridors will get quite the welfare tax funding, authorized by rich Congress-members.
