Man, I remember when you could do BTC mining on your home PC with just a few extra bits of hardware.

Shadden took her own readings at her house near the Bitcoin mining facility that reached 103 decibels.

This is VERY unrealistic.

A larger gas lawn mower with a 5HP motor, such as a riding mower, and not a fancy quieter new one, only is about 90dB while you are sitting on it or right next to it. You literally have possibility of hearing loss after less than an hour of 90dB.

Now it seems they are complaining about the sound of building the sound barrier wall, that the place was compelled to do.

The flood of fake anti-Bitcoin articles has increased suddenly. Something seems to be ready to pop off....

Shadden's readings of 103 decibels near the Bitcoin mining facility seem highly exaggerated. A gas lawn mower with a 5HP motor, which is known to be noisy, only reaches around 90 decibels when you are right next to it. Exposure to 90 decibels for less than an hour can potentially cause hearing loss. Therefore, it is unlikely that Shadden's readings are accurate.
