Edit: TLDL. The vaccine will boost survival for the specific vaccine. The immune system overall will significantly decline, and the chances of dying from another disease are multiplied. Diabolical.

TL;DW: Vaccine introduction occurred after measles had dropped off significantly in the UK and the US. However, the "vaccine reduces immune system" effect hasn't been shown to hold; it's equally-well explained by those with a weaker immune system dying of measles, i.e. selection bias.
