Some kind of recordings: video or audio. Maybe even emails or written transcripts.

Probably, but I do remember some controversy about the dead body they showed. It wouldn't surprise me if they faked the death. But in that case he would be stupid to expose he is still alive. So your probably right. No getting off hoping he is killed a second time.

Nothing about the circumstances surrounding suicide was non-suspicious, beyond someone looking at life in prison wanting to off themselves.
