I do not doubt that Al Qaeda carried that attack out nor that the bulk of the hijackers (murderers) were from Saudi and their connection to the attack. And I don't doubt our government would lie through its teeth about not doing what they could have done to stop it (e.g. the fact that the CIA, FBI, and other agencies didn't talk to each other or have a holistic approach to intelligence gathering that may have pointed to a huge attack on American soil). However, I don't believe that the attack was anything like the far out conspiracy theories out there putting the blame on ourselves. This was religious zealotry and we responded to it badly.
