This makes much more sense when you know the history. I, by chance, happened to run into it while researching my electronic interests. Many interesting electronics end up with medical uses.

I was researching X ray crystallography. This is where you shoot X rays at DNA crystals and the X ray bounces off the surface of the crystal into a back splatter plate of some kind leaving an impression that after processing gives a picture of the surface it bounced off of. This was use to "see" genetic material after chemically tinkering with it. This practice started shortly after the turn of the century into the 1900s. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/X-ray_crystallography

In my research I had run into it saying that by the 1930s over 30,000 new viruses had been created for the sole purpose of being the delivery carriers of the genetic strands scientists were creating. This tells you the purpose viruses are used for. Delivering genetic altering lab created genes to the target.

If they had created 30,000+ by 1930s I would guess that today lab created viruses far surpass natural viruses if nature had ever even produced one in the first place. There is controversy about viruses even being living organisms and seeming to be bio-robots created for a single purpose of hijacking the hosts genetic system and multiplying.Using humans like lab rats was intensively happening in the early 1900s. This was a time period where eugenics was a fashionable concept and american actions of eugenics actually helped inspire Hitler's racial ideologies.

My research of the history of the science showed me clearly that all of our genetics have been manipulated by government for generations.
