I'd say that women are less threatening to most people as well and can't paint themselves as victims even when they are very privileged.

We see this in trans activism. Any push for legislation is fronted by a weak transman who is suffering terribly by not being able to pee while if they were to push transwomen to the front everyone would see it's a problem.
