Depends how you define satanism.

If you define satanism as materialism, as the Church of Satan actually do, then it definitely is.

I think you are misinterpreting the word "materialism".

It's not the same as materialistic.

money is the root of evil. wherever you find evil, you will find money.

Nah, it's "the love of money is the root of all evil."

Money is just a tool, it's neutral. It's what humans do with it which is bad.
