    Dude there were deportation attemps as late as 1944 and even afterwards, the policy of the Germans was more or less; "Whoever wants the Jews can have em!" Elie Weisel chose to intentionally remain with the Germans when the Soviets came...

      The Nazis encouraged Jewish emigration. They even signed the Haavara Agreement with Jewish Zionists to help resettle German Jews in the Mandate of Palestine
