The rulings are “default judgments”, or rare de facto losses, because of Jones’s repeated failure to comply with discovery, or the process of producing documents for a court case. The court will convene a jury to consider damages.

So I guess they will get a jury but they will have to say how much he has to pay. And Alex will tell the jury he was mistaken but he had the free speech right to say it. So maybe the jury could come back and say he has to pay like one dollar if they agree it is free speech? But I guess it's unlikely because they can easily bribe the jury and it will cost like twenty million.
