The Branch Davidians, along with their leader were sexual predators who had sex with children. Adults should never be having sex with children. Law enforcement did the right thing trying to save the kids. Too bad David and his adult followers intentionally set their compound on fire so that they and the kids they were raping/molesting would not make it out alive.

I don't believe anyone was ever convicted of anything like this though. I believe there was allegations, but those allegations never had evidence, as far as I could tell researching the topic. It felt like that was the narrative being spun, but it ultimately had no merit. Many of the kids were released before the fire too, during negotiations.
