1) Am I not allowed to defend things? 2) That isn't even what I'm doing, and I don't see how you can interpret my post as a defense of that law. What issue do you have with my post?

To be clear: I'm saying the Leviticus law exists to maintain purity, and that if jews want a law based on Torah, they should make it consistent with the verse I mentioned.

I see, yes. But Chabad often gets inspiration from other books such as the Lurianic Cabala, Zohar, etc. I misinterpreted what you wrote.
