Even in 2007, a bandaid at a place that I worked was $20.

All that fucking money they got for Covid relief was spent monopolizing the hospital systems and eating small physician groups too. Meanwhile taking on a skeleton crew and overworking staff. One of ours didn't have cleaning crew and had a massive blood spill they didn't bother to clean for weeks. So headsup: if you live in the US, some of the most expensive hospitals out there are clumping together to fuck you over and screw up insurance pricing yet again.
