Yep, I remember the marketing that ensued, basically "a calorie is a calorie!" anyone who does the actual research into the human physiology will tell you that the body metabolizes the macronutrients quite differently enough that such cliche phrase is misleading

I'm always amazed at people who are such good science cultists that they truly believe the calorie is a calorie thing.

They also think that because science can molecularly construct things to look the same, it's the same.

When you try to tell them that just because science isn't advanced enough to measure the difference, it doesn't mean it's the same, they think you're retarded.
