We just hit it off, things happened. We fell in love. I can't disagree that logically it wasn't a great situation. C'est la vie.

I mean, I can't chastise you for shit that happened in the past. You're an adult man now and were on the opposite end of the whole thing, being the younger in the situation. I was just trying to explain "the bad" of things. If that was genuinely a positive experience for you, then you're likely an outlier and I'm at least glad to see that no one was hurt. There's cases like that out there where it's genuine and not just someone being gross and manipulative to get teen ass and/or while they're young and do whatever they want, but the shittier cases end up being more common in the long run. It's just kinda generally a good thing to have laws in place to keep it in check.

There's people out there who predate young people. The problem is, we're blurring the lines between predators and stupid kids and people in love. I think calling a 15yr old who has sex with an 18yr old a sexual crime hurts all of us when we have real sexual predators out there. Some people are just trying to make a buck prosecuting predominantly poor people. They aren't the only ones doing it but they're the only ones getting persecuted by it.
