just because neither is criminally accountable doesn't mean there are no victims. that's not how tragedy works.

Holy fuck, I wasn't a victim. We had fun, nobody was hurt. I was a very horny little kid. Totally would have fucked my teacher's if I had any idea a couple were coming onto me.

Although as an aside -- that was very wrong of them. They were teachers. I say that in retrospect but if both of them wanted to blow and/or fuck my brains out, that would be a cherished memory today.

And that wasn't a teacher that was my gf, it was a co-worker and after HS.

Edit: mentioned this to my wife, she doesn't think anyone was taken advantage of. I asked her that if now, at 40 if I was more mature than I was back then and she said no.

The wife is just a year older. Always liked older women. Coo, coo, ca-choo.

The fact that the argument that I'm trying to relay through your thick fucking skull isn't setting in is getting annoying.

Teenagers will likely have sex regardless of what laws are put into place to keep them from doing so. Teenagers are peers on a physiological and psychologically developmental level, relative to their age group. No, that doesn't mean that developmentally stunted adults are included. Should they be having sex with eachother? Probably not, but it's a safe bet that in our sex positive society it's going to happen regardless. We infantalize teenagers. In Western societies, they're expected to be babied and kept from any source of distress while pushing them to reject any sort of critical thinking. Teenagers today are not the teenagers of even a century ago where a myriad of responsibilities and strife might force them into adult situations or lifestyles. Studies regarding psychology and development have made quite a few changes since that point, and maybe there are some out there, but I'm too fucking lazy to look them up right now to see if there could be differences when looking at the two groups. That said, the further we push teens into being considered children, the further the access that adults should have to them on a sexual or romantic relationship basis.
