The masses have become worthless moronic scum incapable of sustaining civilization. So the elite want to make them serfs, and the elite have a point.

Civilization and society depend on religion to give it guidance. Without religion, the people just become beasts. So if you want to belong to a meaningful society, find a religious group that you can tolerate.

The problem is that most religions have been corrupted and Christianity being the greatest enemy.

Even Christianity was co-opted long, long before anyone alive today was born.
Some people still carry the knowledge though. It's too bad you've been convinced not to find/see them.
