a lot of people also feel a huge emptiness even if they are successful economically.

Can confirm. Threw it all away and went on a search to find meaning. Turns out that people and family were the answer. Plus some other stuff.

Who are we in the end without civilization?

Brutal. That what we are, down deep. Tribal and brutal to outsiders that are not attractive.

RIP femcels.

But more seriously, look what we get when we're not brutal to outsiders.

I've always had a hard time balancing career and social life. It seems I either had a shit social life while doing well in my career, or my career came to a halt while growing a meaningful social life. I'll definitely take the later over the former, but you still need resources to maintain your life. The hard part is finding a living that's stable and provides without consuming all of your time and energy.
