European history is the story of one atrocity after another.

All history is when you look at just the atrocities. Then again, there are plenty of cultures with no remarkable history outside of atrocoties.

As far as Christianity goes... 100+ million dead in the past 100 years due to communism. Enough said.

People are arseholes the world over. In many places terrible atrocities are still being committed. China is doing literal genocide right this second.
