All those things seem ridiculous to me. What left, what right? It's the same money getting both rich. You won't be allowed to have a civil war. MSM will flood the channels demonizing and delegitimizing anyone who tries. Not that I personally am for civil war.

I don't know what China would do. On one hand we give them a shitload of money, on the other they're really itching to be #1. They want it bad. So... I imagine they'd consider scenarios looking for the best fit where America would be put down a peg or two but not totally destroyed. I don't think they'd care about past allegiances, there's a bigger picture. So whatever "side" they publicly support, if any, would be calculated to achieve that goal, and that just depends on a lot of factors.

Wouldn't shock me if they had it all wargamed out already. We do.
