yeah I think trump acts stupid on purpose sometimes, same reason w bush did, to seem down home and "just like us" to his rural red neck supporters. Pretty good actor but I don't buy it not that I think he's a genius but he's an ivy league new yorker I doubt he is really that dumb. Besides that tho I think the elites knew that getting people to willingly lock down and wear masks was going to be a hard sell. They are probably happy to have about half of this 300 million population country do it, and how to get them to do it? Have orange man bad say that masks and lockdowns are bad, that made all liberals think it was good. Really if you think about it liberals are probably more pliable than conservatives but either way it is surprising they got anyone to go along with this for such a weak flu with 99% survival rate.
