Do you even read the articles you keep posting? They say there is a possibility for it being airborne. Based on RNA collected in hospital floors, these incidences show traces of virus so low its doubtful they have the out shield and/or spike proteins to infect a host. That article goes on to say masks are useful in limiting the spread of virus.

By the time people are showing symptoms or have a positive test they should be isolated anyway. There are studies showing viral shedding to be highest just before symptoms appear. And the mutated spike G614 variant being more infectious is a cause for concern.

You ask if I'm frightened of Covid. I'm worried a bunch of lazy idiots are going to force the government require everyone a vaccine and bio passport.

Simply practicing good hygiene, PPE, and social distancing is the least we can do.

It is certainly spread through bio-aerosols that are much smaller than water vapor, and render cloth masks useless.

in addition to being spread by respiratory droplets that one can see and feel, SARS-CoV-2 can also be spread by invisible droplets, as small as 5 microns (or micrometers), and by even smaller bioaerosol particles.2 Such tiny bioaerosol particles may be found in an infected person’s normal exhalation.3 The relative contribution of each particle size in disease transmission is unknown.

Asymptomatic but infected individuals are of special concern, and the particles they would emit from breathing are predominantly bioaerosols. To complicate matters further, different individuals vary in the extent to which they emit bioaerosols while breathing. Because of the concern with spread from asymptomatic individuals, who, unlike symptomatic persons, may be out and about, this rapid expert consultation includes the effects of fabric masks on bioaerosol transmission.

The evidence from these laboratory filtration studies suggests that such fabric masks may reduce the transmission of larger respiratory droplets. There is little evidence regarding the transmission of small aerosolized particulates of the size potentially exhaled by asymptomatic or presymptomatic individuals with COVID-19.

(2020) evaluated the effectiveness of surgical and cotton masks in filtering SARSCoV- 2.10 They found that neither kind of mask reduced the dissemination of SARS-CoV-2 from the coughs of four symptomatic patients with COVID-19 to the environment and external mask surface.

I'm worried a bunch of lazy idiots

You should be more worried about a bunch of obedient idiots who don't ask questions. With or without masks, it's going to spread exponentially until it's done it's rounds, and the gov knows this. They're going to try and do what they want to do either way, masks are a psychological game being played with the population. Really Ned, it is just a bad flu, stop feeding them your fears.

EDITED: You've been arguing its being spread by vapor. If thats the case its infection rate would be exponential higher. Then you go on to say it's just a flu = transmitted by droplets.

It's inconclusive about aerosols. If we go down the rabbit hole of Prof. Boyle's hypothesis, that the virus is a bioweapon. Meant to be spread using nano technology, it is plausible. He makes an interesting argument that Covid19 is a combination of MERS/SARS/HIV.

It being spread via biovapor puts the infection rate about where it needs to be, particularly considering that some range between 40%-80% are considered asymptomatic. Saying "its just a flu" implies that in the vast majority of people the symptoms are no worse than a flu. Not that it is literally a flu. This is why the CDC won't say cloth masks work, only that they "may" work...(or may not). Believe me Ned, if this was some ebola type threat, I'd be wearing a gas mask in a cabin in the forest by myself for at least a year. By around April, it became apparent that this whole thing was too incongruent to believe the official narrative. Most everything about this should be rejected, and common sense promoted instead.

The arbitrary vapor size argument again. You realize the CDC recommends covering your face for both Flu and Covid 19. https://www.cdc.gov/flu/prevent/actions-prevent-flu.htm 3. Cover your mouth and nose with a tissue when coughing or sneezing. It may prevent those around you from getting sick. Flu and other serious respiratory illnesses, like respiratory syncytial virus (RSV), whooping cough, and COVID-19, are spread by cough, sneezing, or unclean hands. https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/prevent-getting-sick/cloth-face-cover-guidance.html

"40-80%" Asymptomatic and presymptomatic carriers are able to transmit the virus. Infact, presymptomatic carriers have higher viral shedding. Which is the reason people should be taking precautions, because how would you know who has it, right?

To "imply" it's just a flu is being willfully ignorant. They are genetically different and attack the body differently. https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0166354220300528 They may exhibit similar symptoms since they are respiratory illnesses. But covid patients have shown to have lasting damage to not just the lungs but other organs in the body. There is still much to learn about the virus and it's long term affects. https://www.statnews.com/2020/06/26/from-nose-to-toe-covid19-virus-attacks-like-no-other-respiratory-infection/

We didn't have as clear of a picture in April as we do now. To dismiss everything about it is reckless. At least we can agree to promote common sense.

Yes, and again I said it's not the flu, you are misrepresenting my statement or lack reading comprehension. It may have long term damage in a fraction of the vulnerable people that get it. All I hear from you is fear, panic, hysteria, repeat...ad nauseum. Are you scripted or just gullible?
