I don't think in BJJ they knee each other's neck with the intent to kill. That would be bad sport, right?

Yeah, actually the knee to the back of the neck is disqualifiable because of the dangers. Trying to take that position it would be really easy to accidentally drop all of your weight on it at once, which would end badly for the bottom
