What is your favorite piece of imperial evidence that anyone can verify for themself is 100% factual and verifiable proof that the earth is a sphere?

For one, airplane flight times only makes sense if the world is round.

If it were flat, all planes going to the opposite side of the earth would go over the north pole. But they don't.

If the world were flat, the flight time from Argentina to Australia would be double the flight time from America to Russia. And they would both go over the North pole halfway. But instead they're the same flight time, because they both fly east-west, because the earth is round.

It's obvious.

imperial Empirical evidence does not enter the debate from my perspective .. at a very early age I had noted the Sun and the Moon were round, curvature was apparent when on some days clouds stretched from horizon to horizon .. then starting school the teachers were on about "ppl thought the Earth was flat."

Which to my ears was arrant bs since my own observations had discerned otherwise, which left me in no doubt the ppl in those same days had come to the same conclusion - that the Earth is a sphere - as I had at about age 4 yrs, and that dumbdown was underway within the school system.

It seems to me you haven't really looked into it and are just taking the textbooks word as truth or NASA composite CGI images as authentic photographs without having verified anything for yourself.

When discussing proofs there are 3 categories any experiments results can fall into.

  1. This result can only happen on a flat earth.

  2. This result can happen on a sphere or a flat earth.

  3. This result can only happen on a sphere earth.

Please post any experiment you believe falls into the third category I have not found any. I have found many that fall into the first and second category.
