I believe in trusting God.

Sure enough, I'm not stupid, so I do things like wear a seat belt when driving. However, there are times when when you need to accept the fact that what will be will be. We shut down the Western economy, told people to avoid each other, passed dress code laws and shamed everyone that just wanted to work. So we should have just accepted the fact that some rotten things were going to happen to good people. Instead we made sure that rotten people got rich and powerful because of it.

  • Wearing a seatbelt to avoid going through a windshield is one thing.

  • Making me responsible for someone else's health and mandating that I have to change my lifestyle is entirely something else.

No one is preventing any individual from wearing a mask, a hazmat suit, using portable air machines or sealing themselves inside their home. The individual needs to take responsibility for their health and not the general public.
