It's an interesting hypothesis. Even through my Google Earth travels, I hadn't really looked at the eye of Africa before. Fascinating formation. There are many aspect that coincide with Plato's writings.

That said, it doesn't look like this guy did any of his own research. He took all his information from one film available on Gaia called Visiting Atlantis by George S. Alexander and Natalis Rosen. He certainly has the "help me make a buck" smile though.
