Edit: I assume the restriction is imposed by YouTube, but I don't know that for a fact. The link on the video page says:

YouTube has always had a set of Community Guidelines that outline what type of content isn’t allowed on YouTube.

Here is the movie trailer, which does play without logging in:

It looks like it could be a good movie.

I haven't seen it. I see it's based on a true story and the guy really died of leukemia . Maybe they actually show that in the movie? I can see how that might be bad for little kids.

If that's bad for kids, maybe they should be isolated in a bubble so they never hear or see anything that happens in the real world. But how could knowing the truth be bad?

There is another video where the uploader requested it be age-restricted, but the restriction is not stated the same way for the movie Until Forever (2016).

I think it's subjective and again it's good to leave up to parents. It'd be bad if it's just censored for having a Christian message. But then wouldn't this vision film studio complain, and wouldn't the other movies they have on their YouTube channel also get similarly censored? I could be wrong of course cuz I have not seen this movie so I don't know why for sure it's age restricted.
