There are not two genders, because "gender" does not mean sex. There are only two sexes, male and female. Gender is a term from linguistics, relating to the grammatical form of words when they have to match a noun, stop using "gender" to mean sex.

Languages can have no genders (like English), two (like Italian), three (German), 16 in Swahili and up to 20 genders in some other African languages.

Every time we use gender to mean sex, the "gender activists" move another yard to the winning line.

Gender is a feature of grammar, so their number depends on the language. Sex is a feature of biological creatures, and when it comes to humans, there are only two (plus some chromosome oddities that don't really count).
