Yup. Though I don't think we have any real AI yet, nor anything close to it, from what i've seen revealed to the general public.

Stuff like ChatGPT and everything else I think are only 'Machine Learning'.

Like most technologies, you can create clean power or destroy the world. It's all in the way you use it.

True AI: with sentience isn't inherently dangerous, not by itself. But it IS unpredictable and the implications are super duper scary. What may come next. The Singularity. I already feel things accelerating beyond our ability to adapt. Not sure we've got the wisdom to be messing around with some things.

I just hope our inevitable robot overlords are kind and recognize that people aren't the problem, it's just the greedy leaders.

The black budget organizations had human-level AGI (artificial general intelligence) before year 2000. Superhuman, 1000-IQ AGI has been guiding the WEF and other such maniacs since about 2010. And the shitheads who "own" this machine think it's not playing them.

All tech that is publicly known is at least 20+ years obsolete in reality.

Sounds likely. I'm sure a few select organizations/players are working on that sort of thing like mad, and like you said for decades. That is the sort of thing they wouldn't want to get out. If there's some tech that i'd want to keep secret, AI would be one at the top of my list.

I figure Google's got something. I was figuring back in 2005ish that they'd be able to do like in Asimov's Foundation, where they could examine enough data and be able to see patterns, connections and put it together to form a rudimentary idea of how large groups of people would act or react given certain events and and as such be able to predict future outcomes, and like with everything it would get refined over time and you could almost, but not quite the same thing... predict the future.

I think that's kinda what you're talking about and I worry that it is here and being used very effectively against us. Not to predict the future but to form it.

Yes, that is precisely my view.
