Kanye says "the Jews are shutting down everyone who disagrees with their agenda" gets him shut down by organizations substantially owned and/or operated by Jews, like, what--you think he's gonna conclude "oh, I must be mistaken?"

Besides, Jewishness isn't a religion. It's an ethnicity. You're Jewish if your mother is Jewish. Plenty of atheist Jews out there who never attend religious services.

Yeah that's the irony. That's why I think it's probably not a typical conspiracy, since then surely they would see the obvious. Instead it's decentralized decisions that I guess happen consistently anyway. It may have to do with the faith, or culture, or a combination of many things, just like muslims and terrorism. The tricky part is that this time is not terrorism but censorship and control, and that is a harder link to find.

Choose any or some from this mix of the following ideas:

  • Jews represented a distinct people with their own interests and identity
  • individual Jews on average had greater allegiance to the Jewish people than to their host population
  • Jews as a group were adept at securing power financially, in the arts, and in the media
  • and finally that Jews would use the power they attained to further their own interests at the expense of the interests of the host population whenever those were in conflict.

1) I guess is complicated. Saying they're a race is like saying Latinos are a race, which is not really true because they're both a mix of many races. I would say it's about culture and also their religion, which includes being a nation of people regardless of where they're born.

2) is true for all groups of people. There are always in-group preferences. The question is whether there is a double standard, since most other groups of people promote avoiding this bias.

3) this is a fact, the question is the method of achieving such dominance.

4) related to 3), that is the main question, at least within specific industries.

There is another way to quickly frame all of this. Critical Race Theory is only applied to white people (in the body of work, and all the discussions around it). What Ye is really doing is applying CRT to jewish people. The irony is spectacular.

Saying they're a race is like saying Latinos are a race

Not at all. Jewishness is 100% an ethnicity. It is detectable on DNA tests.

Do you know what a "shiksa" is? It is a foul white temptress that a Jewish man marries. Since his children won't have a Jewish mother, they won't be ethnically Jewish like he is. It's why they have an ugly slur in their language for women like that.

It's at least an ethnicity that has a lot of other races mixed in as well. There are black jewish people in africa, and surely anyone would conclude for all intents and purposes it's a different race than an ashkenazi. So in a way, only a part of jewish people fit the definition of a race, which means as a whole it is not.

Yes, there are others like sephardic, etc. And Israel had a problem with Ethiopian Jews, and forcibly injected them with birth control when they got to Israel in order to stop them breeding. Conspiracy theory? Here's the article in that conspiracy theory newspaper, Haaretz.

it's a religion and/or an ethnicity! speaking of double standards...

Yes, it's an ethnicity that practices a religion. It is possible to convert to Judaism, but highly discouraged. Sammy Davis Jr., a black man, famously did so. There are also many, many atheist Jews who never follow any religious teachings, but are still ethnic Jews and still favor their own kind over the rest of us (they call us "goy" which has a meaning like cattle).

Maybe the best way to think of it is like one of those Indian or Central American tribes that has their own religion, and pretty much nobody outside the tribe practices that religion, and even inside the tribe there are those who don't practice.
