I'm a rad leaning feminist and this does not speak for me. This current brand of Liberal feminism that is backing trannies, touting sex work and bdsm as empowering is complete and utter bs and extremely damaging especially to young girls who've only grown up in the age of social media.

Totally agree. This movement is degenerate and damaging. The idea that anything goes, that women should behave sexually like men, that sex with children is fine, and that men can become women only serves to damage people and undermine society. That’s the point of it.

In the instance of trans people the narrative the TRAs are trying to push is that if you're not so woke and open minded that your brain is falling out, that you're a transphobe and akin to a right wing bigot etc. Neither of those are accurate. We've lost middle ground where one can still be left leaning but oppose ideology that is basically fantasyland, without being labeled a TERF, fascist or whatever other shit they can think of to try and shut you up instead of engaging in discussion.

Welcome to the world straight white guys, particularly centrists and conservatives, have occupied for at least a decade. Personally, feminism has been the chief ideology ruining the things I enjoy. Whether gaming, TV, film, comics, or tech - feminism has led the identity politics brigade. I note that many now part of the schism were perfectly happy until weirdo men in dresses beat them at their own game.

However I do agree with you in that the average person who doesn't live online and has half a brain is against the trans circus, or hasn't even considered it. The problem is that the loud TRAs who DO live online seem to be the ones who are influencing policy changes, and this is dangerous.

Definitely. The left has created an environment in which minorities and women are the new feudal lords/ladies. Granted the latter recently got downgraded to baronets. I’d be very happy to see this identitarian nonsense ended so we can go back to treating people as individuals.
