Exactly. Their tactics are to shut someone up for pointing out reality, because their entire identities are ideological and not based on reality. They can't engage in debate because their house of cards would collapse.

That's why people tread so lightly and everything is classified as 'transphobia'

Just reply "I'm not transphobic -- I fully support transvestites and transsexuals. It's the autogynephile posers that pretend to be trans that I don't accept".

For the same reason "SJW" is an insult; it is a word certain political positions use to denote another specific alleged political position which they dislike. I remember people on the left asking very similar questions on why "SJW" is an insult.

It's mostly just prefacing some sort of shitty threat, which is less fun than the namecalling. I can lift all the live-long day, but ultimately if some dude comes at me in a department store because I pissed him off in an online argument-- I'm fucked.
