Well it is despicable and ignorant. This is why people hate leftists. You have this powerful emotional attachment to ideas you lack the intelligence to analyze. So you are driven to attack anyone who doesn't agree without any ability for anyone to even reach you with logic when the premis of your hatred is illogical.
