Regardless of how you feel about abortions, "number of voluntary medical operations performed" should not be the primary metric to determine the success of any organisation.

I used to agree with 90% of the ideas on the "left".

Learning that planned Parenthood was the rebranded name for the American birth control league, and a eugenics movement supporter had me quickly reassessing my opinions, and why I believed them.

In 1942 the name was changed to Planned Parenthood Federation of America.[1]
