The Bible contradicts itself constantly. On a number of issues. It’s not a problem if you view the Bible as inspiration and not the literal law of God. The Episcopal Church does not view it in the literal way that fundamentalists do.

That does not justify making up anything you want. It is clear that the bible considers homosexuality a sin.
