No - again - Israel doesn't have to directly control the opposition. Israel simply controls the opposition by allowing them to respond to Israel's aparthied and attrocities. Once they respond, Israel can ethnically cleanse Palestinian areas. Hes, many in Hamas are younger, as you note, and really angry and stupid, because they were born into that life. I think 40% of Gaza is under 18, if I recall correctly. When most of them have had family members who've been killed by Israel, you know they think of justice for their families.

Israel is promoting that idea that they are killing Hamas, but we know that 9000+ have been slaughtered in the process, and there is no corroborated evidence that any Hamas member deep in his tunnel has died, even if a large number of have likely died. But here's the rub: anyone can be a Hamas member if they want to say that they are. It's not possible to "wipe out" all of Hamas. It's impossible.
