Owners of Isar-2, one of the largest, cheapest-operating nuclear reactors in the world, offered to the German gov. to keep running at this low cost but were rejected.

Almost like they know WW3 is coming and they need to shut down the reactors beforehand.

If I'm not mistaken Germany was big into the green party for years and that party was determined to become nuclear free. Looks like there might be some election regret.
