Give it a rest dude. It's nice that you feel like you're supporting the Palestinian underdogs. But neither hamas nor the state news agency of their Qatari benefactors are credible sources on this conflict

Hamas says the attack on the Greek Orthodox Saint Porphyrius Church in Gaza City killed and injured a ‘large number’ of people.

They're terrorists.

This is literally the equivalent of "Isis says...."

You're not understanding the big picture. We're seeing another in a long history of Israel's ethnic clensing of Palestinians, engineered by the Israel government (the actual terrorists). I'm merely reporting news, as we do on Saidit. I don't have to 'give it a rest'.

The big picture is that you are uncritically repeating unverifiable claims from a terrorist propaganda department, routed through their home country's state media service

Sure, okay, thanks for linking to more sources than just the state news agency for Qatar, the home of hamas.

I clicked one of the results (wapo) and it says

The Israel Defense Forces said in an emailed statement that a strike targeting a Hamas control center “damaged the wall of a church in the area” and that it is “aware of reports on casualties” and is reviewing the incident.

The casualty numbers in the OP link are taken without critical thinking, directly from the terrorist propagandists.

So why aren't you blaming hamas for setting up control centers next to religious sites?

It's a given that Israel have a legitimate duty to remove hamas from existence. Hamas don't magically get to go on existing as a terror group, just because their control centers are near to churches.

If a bank robber takes hostages and hides out in a church, the swat team don't say "aw shucks guess he wins this one, let's go home boys".

I second Einstein's comment

The church in question is north of the line which Israel already told everybody to get south of.

Hamas declared a war, retreated to a civilian area adjacent to a filled church, then prevented people from leaving, including with a roadside IED which you already blamed on Israel.

And you blame Israel for hamas' presence next to a church. This is starting to border on prejudice I think. How are you so firmly attached to Israel being the villain in this story. To the extent where you believe terrorist propaganda every time it's wafted under you nose.

Just think about if this was any other context. They declared war, retreated to a command center next to a filled church.... should Israel just have to give up and go home? Is that how you think the world should work?

Israel is slaughtering innocent civilians. That's all you need to know.

If a bank robber takes your mom hostage

And brings her to a house

And ties her up in the doorway

And the city PD swat team injure or kill her, when carrying out their legitimate duty to end the hamas rocket campaign

Then it's not the cops' fault. It's the bank robbers fault.

The fact that you're so insistent the cops "slaughtered" your mom, and sorry for picking such a weird example, but it kind of indicates you have a different problem with the police.
