From what I've seen, the deep state tends to make up stories about human rights abuses in Iran (and against most of their other adversaries). There ARE womens rights issues in Iran, but they proclaim these things openly because they don't believe it's morally wrong based on their twisted religious view of the world. The things they deny are usually because it's not true and fake news made up by US intelligence.
