Ok, I'll bite. Wtf is the "deepstate"? I'm Russian and American and I can tell you that the reason Russians think that they are the good guys is because the government controls everything in Russia. There are basically no independent news sources anymore. Do that for 50 years and like it or not people start believing shit.

"deepstate" was coined in trumpist and Q communities like this one, to mean, simply "any part of governance that I don't like". It can mean whatever you want. That what I learned from 4 years of trump people

Also, people in ruzzia could go to BBC, could go to CNN, could go to any uncensored western press until during 2022. They could have checked at any point during Putin's terms whether or not they were heading into fascism. They could have checked in 2014 whether crim was nash or whether that was illegal annexation. They could have looked at any time how the ruzzian armed forces conducted warfare in chechnya. They could have looked at any time what their president was doing to protestors and dissidents and prisoner.

So don't pretend that ruzzians are just hoodwinked or fooled. There's a part of the ruzzian moskal national character that loves, loves it when they can be the tartar yoke around the neighbouring nations

Don't listen to this shill. Deep state wasn't coined by Trumpists or Q's. It was popularized in the US by Trump, who purposely misdefined the term to associate it with Democrats.

Snowden, McAfee and Di Dongsheng have more accurate descriptions of the deep state.

While the deep state has negative connotations, theoretically speaking, neolibs believe that a deep state is necessary to ensure a leader can't just become a dictator and claim absolute power. A problem arises when the deep state is infiltrated by interest groups who dictate their own goals.
